Doug's grandfather, Ed
Klima, lived in rural
Center Point and began

spades deep. Marvin

dad, started Klima &
Sons in 1961. His wife
Maudie and their ten
children were all
involved in the
business in one way or
another. Doug bought
into the business in the
1970s. Today, Doug's
son, Michael Klima,
runs a laser grade
controlled plow which
installs 40,000 feet of
plastic tile a day.
